About Us

Foreign Local Brewery & Taproom is an astral beverage and beer producer in Downtown Hammond, Indiana.
We strive to use not only the best of ingredients we can source locally like Michigan fruit and Indiana grain, as well as beer making practices used across oceans in foreign lands.

The duality in our name also translates into our taplist as we have a dual focus on our beers: Rustic traditional styles of beer like Lagerbier, Saison, Mixed Culture Farmhouse on one side, and Neo-Hype styles like Pastry Sour, Milkshake IPA, & Pastry Stout.

To match the eccentricity of our beers, we have painstakingly chosen very stylized glassware to not only accentuate and elevate the flavor and aroma of the beer, but also to be a striking visual presence to create a truly different beer drinking experience.
